Dedication

One of the best muscle building secrets I can tell you now is dedication.  When we look at someone who has a perfect physique, we know the amount of dedication they had to attain such a physique and the amount of time they spent to get to that point.  There are no magic pills to get you explosive muscle growth, but with dedication, you create the right mindset for yourself to get you to where you want to be with your muscle growth.

Diet

Again as I have mentioned in numerous other sections, diet is one of the key muscle building secrets for building massive muscles and when you can dedicate yourself to the proper diet, you will equip yourself with the right nutrition for explosive muscle growth and accelerated fat burning.

 

A combination of protein, good carbohydrates and fats are essential for maximum muscle building performance and fat loss.  Protein in muscle building is key when you want growth as protein will keep your body in an anabolic state, to help accelerate you muscle recovery after your workouts.  Good carbs such as brown rice, wheat bread, yams and cereals are slow burning carbs which are great for health and also for help elevate blood sugar that you need to supply energy to your muscles.  Finally good fats are also needed to provide you with energy and vitamins.

 

Basic Muscle Building Exercises

Getting Proper Rest

You can never overemphasize the importance of rest when you are into muscle building and I have to include it in here as one of the muscle building secrets if you want mountains of muscles.  At minimum, you need at least 7 hours of sleep and at most 10 hours.  Although more is better, sleep and rest provides your muscles time to recover and grow & gain strength.  Power naps are also a great way to gain an extra boost of energy as you give your body a some time to repair.  I usually take about 10-15 minutes, but you can take up to 45 minutes for a power nap.

 

 

Setting A Goal For Yourself

Finally, the last of the muscle building secrets I would like to share is goal setting.  The most successful people are goal setters and success in muscle building comes with goal setting.  The goals you set do not have to be a 10 page summary, but you should have some specific goals written down to help you maintain focus on where you want to be.  In your goals, state your ultimate goal.  Do you want to be a professional champion?  Do you just want to improve your strength for sports? Or do you just want to have a physique to show off and attract the opposite sex?  The choice is yours.  Next , you want to break down the steps you need to take to get to your ultimate goal, specific short term weekly goals in your weight training including how much weights you will do in one week with the sets and reps you want to do and the supplements you will take and then the next week and so forth.
