How To Get Ripped Fast: Balancing
Diet, Workouts And Supplements
The biggest question for anyone
who is into muscle building is the question on how to get
ripped fast because most men going to the gym make it a top
priority.
If you really want to get
ripped fast and are in search of a sculpted body with
bulging muscles and six pack abs, then you will need to
find the right balance between your diets, workouts and
rest.
How To Get Ripped Fast:
Thirteen Percent Body Fat Is All You Need
Getting ripped is basically
reducing the body fat in your body enough so that all the
muscle definition you have worked so hard on is
visible.
This requires a proper low
fat diet, but high in protein so that when you lose the
fat, you retain the muscle.
The other way to look at
this is as you lose body weight; make sure you are losing
fat instead of muscle.
If you do not retain your
muscle, then you would end up with fat and muscle loss as
well and basically end up with lost weight as well as
your size.
In your search to get ripped
fast, you basically need to look at the ideal weight you want
to be at and based on this, take that weight and multiply your
caloric intake by 10 to 12 times.
For example, if you want
your ideal weight to be about 220 lbs., you would
multiply this by 10 or 12 bringing your total caloric
intake to between 2200 and 2640
calories.

Most importantly, you need to
remember that you will require the proper amount of protein
intake to retain your muscles for your ideal weight.
As a general rule of thumb, you
will require one gram of protein for each pound of body weight,
so if you wanted to be 220 lbs, you will need 220 grams of
protein to meet your goals. To help you achieve the protein requirement
to maintain your muscles as you lose fat, adding protein shakes
into your diet will help you take in the right amount of
protein you need to maintain your
muscle.
If you want to get ripped fast,
following the above steps on maintaining your caloric intake
will help you achieve your goals in a short amount of
time.
You basically want to reach
a goal of 13 percent body fat to show the definition of
your muscles.
Adding to the proper
nutrition, you will need to workout properly to get
ripped fast.
How To Get Ripped Fast: The
Workouts
Just as important as nutrition is
in getting ripped fast, the workouts are just as important for
you to get ripped.
As a direct result of
reducing the amount of caloric intake you need to reach
your goals, you will need to reduce the amount of
repetitions and sets you perform while maintaining the
same amount of weight you use in your workouts to
maintain your strength.
For instance, if you
perform biceps curls with 50 lb. weights and you perform
about 3 sets of 15 reps, you can reduce the amount of
reps down to 10 reps at 3 sets or 2 sets of 15
reps.
This way, you will save
energy as you won’t have the fuel to keep body going with
the reduced calorie intake.
You should work out about 3
times a week so that you can maintain your muscle and get
the right amount of rest in between for them to
recover.
In your workouts, also add in
cardio to help you burn calories and
fat.
Instead of doing hour long
cardio workouts, you should focus on performing a smaller
amount of cardio, about half an hour or less max, in
addition to your workouts.
The reason you need to
reduce cardio is because of your reduced caloric intake,
you won’t have enough to recover if you max out on your
workouts, but by pacing yourself, you will maintain
energy and strength.
Another problem with
increased cardio is that it will cause a plateau point
with fat loss and when you reach this plateau, you will
need to increase the amount of cardio workout or reduce
calorie intake, which in turn sacrifices the proper
nutrition you need to meet your
goals.
How To Get Ripped Fast: Getting
Proper Rest
Regardless of what anyone else
says, getting the proper rest is just as important along with
the diet and workouts to help you get ripped
fast.
You need the proper rest to
allow your muscles to grow and to help your body
recover.
A minimum of six hours of
sleep is an absolute essential to help your body recover
from your workouts, but it is recommended to have 8 to 10
hours of rest.
The most important part of
getting ripped fast is in the diet, it accounts for about 70%
of the whole discipline. Workouts account for about 20% and the rest
goes to getting the proper rest and to the psychological
discipline. As a closing
thought, aside from the diet, workouts and rest, I believe that
you need to have the desire to succeed and develop the proper
routines to reach your goals to get ripped fast.
This is where the psychological
discipline comes in. Without the right mindset, you will not reach
your goals, so your train of thought is more important than all
three of the above areas combine.
